Neville does more than just work full time in the flower shop. Besides the charitable and community work he does, his time is filled with other responsibilities.
Neville as a speaker
Neville is a speaker and is represented by the Limelight Group. Limelight is an agency that provides and represents speakers and entertainers for events, conferences, conventions, etc., all over the world, and has sent Neville to speak across Canada and into the USA. (Check out the link to their site!) Locally one of the annual favorites is the 50s Plus Expo, held in June.
Neville as a judge
Neville is an accredited floral judge; and he can (and does) judge floral work at many events across Canada and the USA.
Neville as a writer
Neville also writes for two local magazines: Lifestyle Maritimes and Duly Noted. For Lifestyle Maritimes, he writes about different floral designs, and how to create pieces at home, and for Duly Noted, he writes a quick note on wedding design. Neville also writes for Canadian Florist Magazine, Canada's national trade publication for florists, giving advice and expertise to all in the floral industry.
Neville on the Advsiory Board for Canadian Florist Magazine
Neville is on the Advisory Board for Canadian Florist magazine, and is also a member of Flowers Canada. He travels across North America doing floral demonstrations for many supply houses.
Neville & the Nova
Scotia Orchid Society
Neville is an honourary member of the Nova Scotia Orchid Society, giving a talk and demo each year at their annual show and sale.
Neville as a regular
on Breakfast Television
Neville has been a regular on CTV’s “Breakfast Television” for over ten years where he has a great time doing floral design with the hosts. If you are in Atlantic Canada (or can get our local CTV station on satellite) tune on every other Wednesday. (See calendar of events)
